Lost LeBlanc

Creative Director

$3,200 - $4,000/mo

About Lost

Lost LeBlanc is one of the world’s leading travel storytelling brands, with 2.2 million subscribers and adventures across 100+ countries. My journey started far from glamorous. I was once an accountant stuck in spreadsheets, chasing a life that didn’t fulfill me. One day, I quit. With nothing more than a GoPro Hero 4 and a relentless drive, I taught myself how to film, edit, and get in front of that camera.

That leap changed everything. Today, Lost LeBlanc is one of the biggest names in travel and is known for creating some of the most cinematic travel films on YouTube. And through Lost Creator Academy, I’ve helped over 5,000 people build their own careers as creators.

But Lost LeBlanc has always been about more than travel. It’s a reminder that ordinary people can create extraordinary lives through hard work, and persistence. It’s a reminder to stay curious, to step away from the screen, and to book that ticket abroad. I believe our mission to inspire people to get out of their comfort zone and into the world matters now more than ever.

So here’s where you come in. I’m building a team like never before in my company to take our storytelling further and our connection with the audience deeper. I’m searching for a Creative Director to help lead the charge: someone who can fuse raw adventure with high-level cinematic storytelling and continue inspiring millions to see the world, and themselves, differently.

Role Overview

The right person for this Creative Director  role is someone that is YouTube obsessed. You understand what gets people to click and you know how to get them to stay. You understand the importance of the thumbnail and title and video analytics. You ensure our videos are among the best in the niche and you follow up every published video by learning from the data. This is a role for someone who deeply understands storytelling, enjoys experimentation, and is committed to cracking the code with me on what truly connects to our audience.

Day-to-day, you’ll oversee the full content pipeline,  from concept to upload, working across editors, thumbnail designers, and strategizing with me, you’ll shape every detail of the videos we share.

You will be the force that keeps our content engine running at full speed managing workflows, people, and ideas across every stage of production to ensure every video we release is world-class and on time.

This role blends strategy, structure, and creativity. 50% creative / 50% operational.

Responsibilities

  • Video Concept, Script Development, Thumbnails & Titles : Collaborate with Christian and curate World Class video concepts and travel topics. Create hooks, thumbnail samples, title ideas, and scripts for travel films and supporting short-form content. • Project Management & Team Coordination: : Own the production calendar, coordinating between editors, animators, our producer and external partners to produce a cohesive video in the required timeframe.
  • Post-Production Oversight: Review all cuts from editors, give structured feedback, and ensure the final video is fully aligned with brand vision.
  • Brand Development & Quality Control: You will be a leading voice in developing the Lost 2.0.
