Volvic is at the heart of Danone’s growth ambition in Waters – and this role sits right at the centre of that journey.
As Head of Marketing, Volvic, you will have full business and brand leadership accountability for one of the most iconic and fast‑growing brands in the category. Reporting into the Business Unit Director, Waters North Europe, you’ll act as the senior marketing lead for Volvic in the UKI, shaping strategy, driving performance and elevating our marketing impact in an increasingly competitive landscape.
With waters growing at pace – driven by health, penetration and consumption – Volvic is where we see the majority of our growth coming from over the next 3–5 years, particularly across flavoured and functional offers. This role offers genuine scope to set the strategic north star, build distinctive brand leadership and translate ambition into in‑market results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting the strategic direction for Volvic in the UK & Ireland across plain, flavoured, functional and future innovation – with a clear focus on profitable growth, penetration and market share leadership.
- End‑to‑end brand and business ownership, including P&L delivery, annual marketing plans, performance management and A&P investment decisions.
- Raising the bar on brand building, leading Volvic’s total communications strategy and execution across all touchpoints – from brand platforms and pack to activation, partnerships and sponsorships (including sport).
- Shaping the innovation and renovation pipeline in the short and long term, identifying the biggest growth opportunities for the UKI market in collaboration with global teams.
- Accelerating in‑market performance, working cross‑functionally with commercial, RGM, supply chain, finance, insights and category teams to turn strategy into standout execution.
- Playing a leadership role beyond marketing, contributing to broader beverages and waters transformation agendas and acting as a key delegate for the BU Director as required.
- Developing high‑performing talent, coaching and inspiring senior marketers, and role‑modelling what ‘great’ looks like as we continue to raise our marketing capability.
This is a role for someone who wants real ownership, the chance to shape what’s next for a major brand, and the platform to leave a lasting impact on both the category and the organisation.
