As we prepare for our official opening and the new academic session, we are seeking a highly creative, skilled, and detail-oriented Video Content Creator to visually tell the Shepherd’s Hill story. This role is central to how we communicate our vision, showcase school life, highlight academic excellence, and engage parents, students, and the wider community across digital platforms.

From school promotions and classroom activities to events coverage, student experiences, and brand storytelling, the Video Content Creator will produce compelling, high-quality video content that reflects the values, culture, and standards of Shepherd’s Hill British School.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production and Editing

Plan, shoot, and edit engaging video content showcasing school activities, classrooms, facilities, events, and community life.
Produce promotional videos, school tours, interviews, testimonials, reels, and storytelling content for digital and institutional use.
Manage the full video production process from concept development and scripting to filming, post-production, and publishing.
Ensure all video content aligns with the school’s brand guidelines, tone, and educational values.

Creative Storytelling

Develop creative concepts that communicate the school’s mission, culture, and impact in authentic and engaging ways.
Translate educational experiences and school initiatives into visually compelling, easy-to-understand stories.
Collaborate closely with the school management, marketing, and communications teams to ensure content supports institutional goals.

Content Strategy and Platform Optimization

Create video content tailored for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and the school website.
Edit and format videos to suit different platforms, aspect ratios, durations, and audience expectations.
Stay up to date with current video trends, storytelling formats, and digital best practices to keep content fresh and relevant.

Brand Representation

Capture the spirit, values, and daily life of Shepherd’s Hill British School through thoughtful and professional storytelling.
Consistently reflect the school’s commitment to excellence, care, and holistic education in all video content.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
One to three years of experience in video production, content creation, or digital storytelling.
Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and similar software.
Strong understanding of lighting, sound, composition, and visual storytelling.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high creative standards.
A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating video production and storytelling skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating content in an educational, lifestyle, or institutional environment.
Understanding of social media content strategies and digital engagement.
Basic motion graphics or animation skills will be an added advantage.
